Chili Chicken & Whole Wheat Noodles

  • 4lbs chicken breast

  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce 

  • 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce

  • 2 tbsp corn flour

  • 2 tablespoon oil

  • 5 Thai chillies 

  • 1 large onion

  • 1 tbsp of Salt

  • 1 Pack of whole wheat noodles

Let’s start by preparing our chili chicken.

Cut the chicken breast to small pieces (bite sized). Wash & drain the chicken in colander. In a bowl or ziplock, add soy sauce, sriracha and corn starch. Leave to marinate for 2 hours.


Cut up chillies and onions. Heat oil in a wok or pan, add the marinated chicken. Fry until darkens. Add onion and chillies to allow flavour to mix in. The left over marinade can be added to give sauciness.


Now for the whole wheat noodles!

Add noodles to a pot of boiling water to soften, along with a drizzle of oil and pinch of salt. Mix together, and let it continue to boil for around 8-12 min while the chicken cooks. Once ready, serve together with the chicken for a flavourful pairing!
